A rant in the making..


I think if I was asked what I’d want if only allowed 4 foods for the remainder of my life, the humble spud would be one.  It is just so versatile and delicious.. Do you agree?

Name something else you can chip, roast, julienne, bake, scallop, mash, puree, ‘soup’ up, dauphinoise, turn into a salad, thrice fry and still enjoy, wedge, stuff, boil, slice .. Need I go on?

I feel an ode to the potato coming on ..

O tolerance for low carb diets .. watch this space!
