Roasted Feijoas – Recipe

So I was thinking about a way of using feijoas in a savoury, simple dish when I dreamed this one up! Yet another simple recipe. You’re learning now, I don’t much like complicated stuff huh 😉

Pre-heat your oven to 200C.

Peel and slice the feijoas into 1 inch thick rounds.

Place in a plastic bag with a little salt and pepper and some cumin and ground coriander.

Slug in 1T rice bran oil. Moosh it all around and then pour into a pre-heated dish and bake for 15-20 minutes or until sticky and golden..
NO idea what you’d serve it with but omigosh they’re good!

Maybe in a warm roast vege salad, with slow roasted onions and other veges, drizzled in a lovely vinaigrette.

I just ate mine on toasted ciabatta lol .. SO not what I was expecting, but so good!

What would you serve them with??
